Did the Malaysian Airlines MH370 crash in the Indian Ocean near Australia? Experts believe it did.

But a four months search failed to bring up anything new on the missing airliner.

Will the Ocean Infinity fail in its impossible mission to locate the plane?

The latest breaking news from the Ocean Infinity search team says:

BREAKING: Ocean Infinity says no contact made after searching almost 80,000 square-kilometres for #MH370, statement reads. Company averaged about 1,300 kilometres per day and after docking at Freemantle, search vessel will return to search area to begin final phase.

But the latest news is that the U.S. company is extending its search area beyond the official search coordinates.

US company Ocean Infinity has exhausted a 25,000km ‘priority area’ identified by Australian experts as MH370’s most likely resting place

The search for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 has expanded into a new area, after exhausting the main search zone without finding the plane, says news reports.

Ocean Infinity, has covered 80,000 sq km of the Indian Ocean since January.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau had previously searched for MH370 for three years, but the operation was called off in January 2017 after no success.
