New homebuyers receive keys nine months ahead of target with digital experience

Master Community Developer Sunway Property this month has started to hand over 417 units of the Sunway GEOLake Residences lakeside condominiums and 39 units of the townhouses to its new homebuyers at its flagship future-forward city, Sunway City Kuala Lumpur close to nine months ahead of its targeted delivery despite the various MCO phases, a feat that one would describe as almost impossible during these tough times, especially during the pandemic, thanks to the help of its contractors and vendors.

As the nation slowly resumes to normalcy, Sunway Property also acknowledges the importance and the need to uphold the safety and wellness of its community. Hence, as part of Sunway Property’s effort to minimise contact and keep its community safe without compromising customer experience, the new homebuyers have an option to be welcomed to the development through a digital experience.

Each homeowner was also presented with a healthy gift box from Wise Crafters, a start-up under the Sunway iLabs accelerator programme that produces healthy meals. This collaboration is in line with Sunway’s effort to innovate and foster new ideas into the ecosystem through the seamless collaboration and partnership of Sunway’s 13 business units with the start-up community.

Homebuyers and their families who had chosen to view their units virtually were personally introduced to the development via ZOOM by Sunway Property’s dedicated customer service personnel, as well as presented with a set of video tutorials to help them understand better. The video tutorials included a vacant possession briefing, an introduction to Sunway Property Online and a walkthrough of the common facilities and their unit.

Sunway Property Online, available as apps for download on Apple App Store and Google Play Store, is part of Sunway Property’s digitalisation efforts that were initiated during the pandemic to provide an online platform that offers end-to-end service for Sunway Property homebuyers. Through the apps, each homebuyer’s experience will be customised to their needs with the homebuyers being able to access community events, retrieve important documents related to their property, track billing statements and payment, view monthly construction progress, and arrange for their VP appointment, among others. Through this initiative, homebuyers can also enjoy everyday-life convenience as the online platform will also enable the homebuyers to book facilities, log in service requests, and manage visitor arrival and departure.

Sunway Property Managing Director, Sarena Cheah said, “We are excited to welcome our new community into Sunway GEO, our integrated development within the ever-evolving Sunway City Kuala Lumpur as a future-forward city. They are now a part of our growing Sunway community and we look forward to the community’s growth alongside us.”

The entire Sunway GEOLake Residences development consists of 420 units of condominiums and 44 units of townhouses overlooking the Sunway South Quay lake which has its own community private yacht. A low-density development on an almost seven-acre plot of land, the development is the epitome of green luxury. Currently, the development is 100% sold.

The community within the award-winning development will be living within a spacious compound with extensive facilities that espouses wellbeing. Residents will be immersed in a lush landscape with the longest maze garden designed by award-winning architect, Sek San who is aligned to Sunway City Kuala Lumpur’s low-carbon city focus.

Within the development, there are close to 20 resort-style facilities for the community to enjoy, including a dragon walk playground, a well-manicured central park, a community pavilion, a recreational fitness park, a family pool, a lifestyle pool deck, a rock jacuzzi, an infinity pool, a splash pool and a community urban farm.

The development is connected to the larger Sunway GEO development including the Sunway GEO Avenue retail development. Residents will be able to access the retail offerings through a linked walkway which is safeguarded by Sunway’s own private security team, which includes auxiliary police trained by the Royal Malaysian Police. The Sunway GEO Avenue development offers residents a host of conveniences including a fitness centre, Sunway’s very own TCM facility, a collection of stellar F&B options, a Jaya Grocer and an events space where community activities are hosted regularly.

Sunway GEO Avenue connects directly to the Sunway BRT that links to the Setia Jaya KTM and USJ 7 LRT stations. Through the same elevated walkway which traverses the city, residents will be able to connect directly to the world-class facilities of Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, including Sunway Medical Centre with an upcoming Senior Living facility, Sunway XFarms, Sunway University, Monash University, Sunway International School, Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, offering unparalleled convenience for all.

Upcoming developments within the vicinity include an integrated development worth RM 1,519 million in total development value spread across 8.62 acres located next to the Sunway South Quay Lake. Comprising office, education and retail components, the integrated waterfront lifestyle hub will include Sunway University’s performing arts centre, and a cultural & arts street by the lake complete with al fresco dining and other outdoor activities, giving its surrounding communities a new experience like no other. The development will be fully accessible via an elevated covered canopy walkway.
