Opposition expects massive crowd at rally in Mauritius

Opposition parties, boosted by claims of links between the Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and a drug lord, is rallying its supporters today in Mauritius.

“The aim is to gather 10,000 to 15,000 people, and to get support for the opposition to quit Parliament en masse,” said a source to WorldfutureTv.

The rally is organised following the allegations by Peroomal Veeren, a drug lord who said in court  the Prime Minister is behind the finance of drug importation in Mauritius, a claim the Jugnauth denied.

PM Jugnauth haunted by a case that is lingering on his rule – now he faces drug-link allegations!

The opposition is calling for the PM to allow the Parliament to seat in order to face the grilling from the MP’s.

Our source said the opposition seems united on two things: Force Jugnauth out of power and if this does not happen after the recent allegations against the PM, the entire opposition group will then quit from Parliament, thus forcing a crisis in the country.
