Sex, rape, videos: Malaysia Baharu?

Police are closing in on the “alliance” responsible for the gay sex video implicating a minister.

Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador said this to the media.

This is one major case that broke the back of some people in local politics, including the said minister.

The minister said in a media release the publication of the video is to damage his political career. He got it right there.

It will be difficult for the minister to climb the ladder back where he was before the scandal broke out.

While this case is being investigated, a more rape and sexual abuse cases reared their heads.

In May, the police confirmed receiving a report from a former aide to a member of Parliament in Perak who complained of sexual harassment.

The former aide claimed the MP had shown her the “Kamasutra” book and pornographic pictures.

The MP denied. We did not hear of the case lately.

Sungai Siput MP Kesavan Subramaniam says he is the MP and the PKR lawmaker claims it was the woman who had first made advances towards him instead.

Bador now finds himself busy with yet another sexual abuse case, that of an Indonesian maid who claims she was raped by a DAP exco.

Paul Yong Choo Kiong, the Perak state exco member who is being investigated in this case turned up for work at his office at the Perak State Secretariat asking why he cannot go back to work?

“Anyone can hurl accusations against anyone else.” he told reporters.

He denied the allegations but the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur is taking the accusations seriously.

It wants the police to sort out this affair.

To be fair, he says he will take leave from work if the investigations drag its pace, which is a stance contrary to that of the minister who is doing everything to hang on to the post.

Days after the Perak rape case, another exco is accused of abusing power to demand bribes and leaking government information.

Parit Buntar PKR committee member Beh Yong Kean lodged the report against the exco who is a member in charge of public facilities, infrastructure, agriculture and plantations, Abdul Yunus Jamhari.

Abdul Yunus says the allegation of corruption made against him as vile and a malicious conspiracy to destroy his political career.

Abdul Yunus says he is a supporter of Azmin Ali and this is the reason for the accusation made against him.

He is certain that his support for Azmin during the last party elections has brought people to conspire against him.

“This is to kill my political career,” he says, which is the same argument used by Azmin in the gay-sex video scandal.
