This is how a picture is worth a thousand words

This is how a picture is worth a thousand words and four pictures are worth even more.

Today, Oct 21,  the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah granted an audience to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The meeting is for a pre-Cabinet meeting at Istana Negara.

A statement on Istana Negara’s official Facebook page says the meeting began at 8 am and lasted an hour.

“The pre-Cabinet meeting is among the weekly activities or the main routine of Al-Sultan Abdullah to discuss and exchange views with the Prime Minister on government affairs and related issues,” it says.

While political parties are battling for power, the King of Malaysia is conducting business as usual.

The country is facing a dangerous curve upwards in COVID-19 infections, threatening the economy in particular.

While Malaysia is not on total lockdown, there is a conditional movement control order.

Now the order has been reinforced with workers unable to go to their work place. Study shows the infections are rampant in office environment.

UMNO TRUCE

Nevertheless, in a spirit of cooperation with PM Muhyiddin Yassin, the Umno has ordered a truce.

The political truce comes at a price for opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim who has to wait for another shot at the PM post.

He was counting on the Umno MPs to join him to form a more solid government. But it is not happening, according to recent events.

Umno has decided to call a truce with the Bersatu, the party of Muhyiddin to help fight the pandemic.
