Time to rally support behind Anwar Ibrahim for a new Malaysia
The Movement for An Informed Society Malaysia (WADAH) says Malaysia now has a clear opportunity to end the political uncertainty.
It says sensible and rational people should reject betrayal in politics. It is time to rally support behind Anwar Ibrabim.
President, Ahmad Azam Ab Rahman of WADAH says the tricks among various political parties have adversely affected Malaysia.
He was responding to the latest developments in Malaysian politics. Anwar Ibrahim today announced he now controls the Parliament.
“WADAH believes that this development provides a clear opportunity for the country to come out of political uncertainty.
“End the games and tricks of the various political parties which had adversely affected our socio-economic and political wellbeing. This has also tainted the image of the nation.”
The movement says the latest developments in Malaysian politics is something Malaysians have been looking forward to.
“This development means that the people have regained the mandate which they gave to Pakatan Harapan on May 9, 2018, following the last 14th election.”
This latest development is another important chapter for this country. After the extraordinary success of the people in ousting Barisan Nasional through peaceful elections.
This shows that sensible and rational people support clean politics based on principles and reject political betrayal including those who planned the despicable Sheraton Move in February 2020.
“We believe that people are getting tired of the behaviour and hypocrisy of politicians who act simply for power and self-interest.
“After the ‘first opportunity’ following the people’s victory on May 9, 2018, this latest move is a second chance.”
It should be put to good use by the leaders and the people, says Wadah.
“People who sincerely strive to build prosperity and more meaningful progress for the country.”

“WADAH urges all parties to accept Dato ‘Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the leader to lead the nation. Give him the opportunity to restore the image of the country which has been mired by various scandals. It is an embarrassing mockery at international level.
“We believe that he is capable of building mutual understanding and fostering inter-racial unity. He is able to restore the economic condition of the country severely affected by the massive misuse of state money. Coupled with constraints due to the spread of the Covid 19 epidemic, which has yet to be curbed.”
WADAH urges all politicians to stop extreme ‘politicking’ and start focusing on efforts to build and develop.
“For the sake of prosperity and the well-being of the people and the country.”
The organisation calls on the people regardless of their background, race or religion to rally around Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“Give him full trust and utmost support to achieve the noble ideals together. For the sake of the people and our future generation.”
