A widely-shared WhatsApp video making claims that COVID-19 is a blood clotting condition caused by bacteria if false.

The post says, “Italy defeats the so-called Covid-19, which is nothing but ‘diffuse intravascular coagulation’ (thrombosis).
It also says COVID-19 should be treated with “antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and anticoagulants”.
FACT CHECK
The disease COVID-19 has been proven to be caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2, not by bacteria.
COVID-19 is caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
This is said by a medical portal.
Autopsies of people who have died from COVID-19 show persistent and extensive lung damage.
Another fact-checking portal the AAP says Italy did not find a treatment to defeat COVID-19 .
It says Italy did not say the disease is caused by bacteria.
As of November 1, 2020, the number of active coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in Italy surpassed 378 thousand.
Among these, 1,939 infected individuals were being treated in intensive care units.
Another 18.9 thousand individuals infected with the coronavirus were hospitalized with symptoms, while more than 357 thousand were in isolation at home.
The total number of Coronavirus cases in Italy surpassed 709 thousand (including active cases, individuals who recovered, and individuals who died) as of November 1, 2020.
The region mostly hit by the spread of the virus was Lombardy, which counted more than 204 thousand cases.
If Italy found the cure or the solution to the virus problem, there would not be so many cases in Roman country.
