Hajiji: Businesses allowed to operate in Sabah during lockdown to be made known soon - The Star Online

KOTA KINABALU: Businesses under the essential economic and service sectors allowed to operate in Sabah under the national lockdown from June 1 to 14 will be announced soon, says Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
In a short statement issued Friday (May 28) night, Hajiji said Sabah has decided to follow the national lockdown because Sabah is also seeing an increase in the daily numbers of positive cases.
The state government welcomed the announcement by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for the national lockdown decided at a special meeting of the National Security Council on Friday as a needed step towards controlling Covid-19 in the state, he said.
