Its bad news in China: Record 65 death in one day!
It is not getting better in China and as per expectations, the infections rising to 24,324 and death 490 is no surprise.
But the most worrisome news is the death toll in one day rose to 65, a record high in China.
Nevertheless, there is only two deaths on record outside China, one in the Philippines and in one Hong Kong.
There is also another record in China with the number of cases in one day at 3,887. The majority of this figure were in Hubei, the epicentre of the outbreak.
NOT SEAFOOD MARKET VIRUS?
While the authorities in China did not reveal the origin of the virus, media reports say it is from an exotic animal or seafood market.
However, a Think Tank in Beijing now believes there is not enough evidence the virus comes from exotic animal consumption.
Anbound Research says, no tests show the novel coronavirus is directly from the commodities in the market.
“The China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) only acknowledges the new coronavirus was successfully isolated from environmental samples.
The CDC confirms there is a large number of the 2019-nCoV virus in the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market environment.
But the Think Tank says the market is likely to be a concentrated point for the outbreak, but not the “source”.

The Journal had said between December 16, 2019 and January 2, 2020, 66% of early infected victims had visited the market.
FOG VIRUS CARRIER
The Think Tank now believes the virus originates from a fog or pollution.
In a report published Feb 1, the Think Tank says data released by the Wuhan Bureau of Ecology and Environment suggests this theory.
It says the outbreak of a large number of pneumonia cases in Wuhan coincided with a air pollution surge.”
It says this was during the period from January 19, 2020 to January 23, 2020.
However, we note that the virus outbreak was in December, not in January.
Is it possible that the fog or air pollution facilitated the spread of the outbreak instead of being the cause?
The analysis from Anbound does not give a good picture of where the virus really originates.
