China Withheld Pandemic Data, Leaked Documents Reveal

China concealed a large amount of data from the World Health Organisation on influenza and other diseases with symptoms similar to COVID-19.

The Epoch Times says the internal documents leaked to them show concealed data from the Chinese regime’s Center for disease control and health departments in 2019 and 2020.

These were not made public and were hidden from WHO’s officials who are investigating the outbreak of the pandemic in China, the newspaper says.

WHO experts wrapping up an investigation into the origins of the global virus pandemic have complained about the Chinese regime’s refusal to provide related data.

A recent report by the Wall Street Journal dated Feb. 12 says Dominic Dwyer, a member of the WHO expert team and an Australian infectious disease expert, the CCP refused to handle data of 174 COVID-19 patients from the early stages of the outbreak in China.

The WHO team was conducting an investigation into the source of the epidemic in Wuhan.

China also refused to give data on pneumonia patients who may have been infected by the virus earlier than December 2019.

WSJ says China only provides influenza surveillance data from one children’s hospital and one general hospital. The Journals also says WHO experts believe China did not have COVID-19 origin tracing data altogether.

The Epoch Times says documents leaked to it show sharp increases in influenza cases and clustered fever outbreaks of an unidentified pathogen, as well as a large cache of influenza monitoring data.

One of the documents from the Chinese CDC in Meihekou City in Jilin Province says there is a 11600.00% rise in influenza cases in December 2019.

It is not the first time reports of a sharp increase in influenza cases from an unknown source are reported from China. WorldFuture in an article published in January 2020 did show such a rise in influenza cases.

According to a report from Anbound, some important signals for disease transmission were ignored.

Influenza outbreak data in China from 2018 onwards shows a staggering rise in influenza cases. But the authorities did not look into these data.

Chinese officials did not take a rise from 150,000 annual cases to 1.4 million in 2019 seriously.

Another document by the Beijing Chaoyang District Public Health Management Committee reveals an increase in influenza infection in Chaoyang district between Sept. 1, 2019, and Dec. 5, 2019.

“A few other internal documents obtained by The Epoch Times show that the regime holds a large amount of influenza data and issued a secret notice at the end of 2019 to not disclose it to the public, including a document of “Daily Intelligence Meeting Minutes” from China’s National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and monitor reports of influenza issued by the regional centre for decease control and health departments,” the newspaper says.
