Macron's desperation for survival promotes wide-ranging anger against France

In a message to the Muslim world, France President Emmanuel Macron says he will not tolerate violence.

But his message falls in deaf ears while Muslims continue their unabated bashing of France on social media networks.

There is little the French can do to stop the negative perception which is newly acquired by Muslims.

In general, it is not about France really. Their attacks on social media are fuelled by Macron.

AFP today says, “The bitterness against France is no longer just in the jihadist spheres, It now reaches from radical Islamic politics to a much larger religious sphere.”

After Macron’s mistake in creating the perception he is calling Islam out as a radical faith, calls for violence against French targets spread like wildfire on social media.

LA FAUTE A MACRON

The French did nothing to stop it. Macron added oil to the fire with his display of the cartoons on billboards on buildings.

This sparked more religious speechmakers to attack Macron and France. But since France is an easier target, the people did not focus on Macron. They are focusing on boycotting French products.

News reports that many Middle Eastern nations have pulled French products out of super markets have encouraged more Muslims to back such boycott calls.

Macron is backing the publication of the anti-Islam cartoons and this does not look good for him in the Muslim world.

It is clear the re-publication of the cartoons is viewed as a new insult and worked as an accelerant.

Macron’s call to combat radicalism and “liberate Islam in France from foreign influences,” sparked more indignation and protests in several Muslim countries.

The fault is on Macron. The French President seems desperate to gain leverage on a subject that has ignited anger against France.

The more he pushes for the support of the canard boiteux, the more the attacks against France will grow.

REALLY LA FRANCE?

Does La France really need that glow in the fight for the so-called freedom of expression?

We said it before and we repeat it here. Fight a war against Islam and you will lose. France has lost the fight against Muslims, intellectuals or not.

Many European countries are supporting or showing support for France in this conflict. But their messages are seen as support for the publication of the cartoons, not support for freedom of expression.

Which is damning. Because then, we are going into a no-man’s land and perhaps a culture of anger and hatred against France.

France has also promised tougher action against online hate after Paty’s murder.

Experts are urging the French government to get social media networks to control the freedom of expression online.

The same people who want to anger the Muslims with the silly cartoons want the freedom curtailed for the Muslims to vent their anger against France?

Some experts are putting their focus on the easily accessible hyper-violent imagery and videos on social media.

They say this demonstrates the failure of tech companies to keep their promises to address the prevalence of extreme content.

They mean content pushed by extremists and terrorists. They do not mean the content pushed by French and others who speak violently against Islam.

The bias continues and this will never end the cycle of angry and violent protests.

Does La France really need to save Macron and face backlash from billions of Muslims?

AFP believes the violent criticism of Macron by Muslim political and religious leaders are encouraging extremist views.

Yet again, it is a biased view point. As long as France and its experts fail to see the biased messages coming from their government and themselves, the cycle will not break.

Instead, it will perpetuate the idea of France as an anti-Islamic nation.

While France do not bother with such talks, it is hurting its image.

MACRON DO NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND

France24 reports yesterday that Macron is saying he understands Muslims might be ‘shocked’ by caricatures of the Prophet Mohammad.

“I can understand that people could be shocked by the caricatures but I will never accept that violence can be justified,” he said.

“I consider it our duty to protect our freedoms and our rights,” he added in an extract of the interview.

This is not good enough Macron. You need to be unbiased in your judgement and stop using the cartoons to fuel your re-election propaganda.
