Man found dead on road after fight over parking - Free Malaysia Today

SEREMBAN: A man was found dead on the road in front of a house in Jalan Temiang here, last night, after he was believed to have been involved in a fight over a parking space.
Seremban district police chief Mohd Said Ibrahim said a team rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call regarding the incident at 7.17pm.
He said initial investigations found that the victim, a 46-year-old local man, was believed to have had an argument with the suspect, a foreigner, after parking his car in front of the latter’s house.
“The victim is believed to have visited his employer’s house which is located next to the house of the suspect, who is from Myanmar. We were told that the issue over the parking space had been going on for some time, and yesterday, the suspect had also painted a ‘No Parking’ sign on the road in front of his house.
“The victim was unhappy about the no parking sign and provoked the suspect, and this led to a little fight between them which we were told was not too intense.
“However, after the situation had calmed down, the victim fell and lost consciousness,” Said told reporters at the scene last night.
He said the 21-year-old suspect, who admitted to being involved in the altercation, was detained under Section 302 of the Penal Code to assist in the investigation.
Said said the victim’s body was then taken to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban for an autopsy.
