Millions will not be able to use WhatsApp but Telegram is here!

People using iPhone 5 or below or Android phones from 2010 will not be able to use WhatsApp soon.

In a blog post, WhatsApp says it is removing older smartphones from its list of the compatible devices.

The reason it gives is that it cannot guarantee the security of the users.

Owners of iPhones using OS8 and Android using an older version than 2.33 will be affected.

The same applies to people using Windows phones with the 8.1 operating system. They will not be able to use WhatsApp.

WhatsApp is the most popular free messaging service on mobile phones. However, there are alternatives out there.

Some of these alternatives are even better than WhatsApp but they are not as popular in some countries.

USE TELEGRAM, STUPID!

While WhatsApp is going to stop supporting older smartphones, which is a smart move for the Facebook-owned company, there is Telegram!

“For the best experience, we recommend you use the latest version of iOS available for your phone,” WhatsApp said in a blog post.

WhatsApp will make its app inaccessible.

However, we recommend that you go to the Apple Store and Google Play and find the less popular Telegram.

Nevertheless, you will not be able to use the popular app if your phone runs on the older versions of Android.

Any version older than Android 3.0 will no longer be compatible with Android but it’s compatible with Android 4.0 and OS 6.
