Priest says execute gays 'humanely'

A 22-year-old Christian preacher said the US should follow the bible: Execute the gays.

But he said they should be executed humanely.

The young priest, Mat Powell, has 350 YouTube subscribers. He was live on a YouTube show when he made the comments.

In the webcast with an atheist YouTuber Skylar Fiction, he said the Bible puts the death penalty on homosexuality.

Nevertheless, he said he believes homosexuality is disgusting.

Every scientific test has come back and said homosexuals are 50 more times likely to get AIDS, he said.

“We got this AIDS thing spreading… it’s a fact that this is the case.”

The atheist teases him by asking if stoning (probably referring to ISIS) is ideal punishment for gays.

However, he replied it was for the government to impose and carry out the death penalty on gays.

“I believe it’s the government’s job to execute criminals. I believe that the Bible says clearly that homosexuality is a criminal crime. It’s a crime. It’s one of the worst crimes ever.”

But pressed by the atheist, the young priest said believes in humane executions when it comes to gay people.

“By whatever means they execute people. And obviously, I believe in humane, you know, putting to death,” Powell replied.

“Whatever our government says, as far as for a death penalty, I think should go for them,” Powell clarified.
