Here's our report on recent rallies across the world with some of the highlights:
On Friday, October 13, 2023, Hamas called for mass rallies in the West Bank, Jerusalem and throughout the Arab and Muslim world in support of its fight against Israel. The group also urged young Palestinians in the West Bank to clash with settlers and soldiers and asked Arab Israelis to gather at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa compound to prevent Jews from “desecrating it”1.

Police officers were deployed to monitor the demonstrations and prevent any violence or hate crimes.2
On Saturday and Sunday, October 14 and 15, 2023, various pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian rallies took place in different parts of the world, such as California, Boston, Madrid, Los Angeles and Denver. Some of the rallies were peaceful and expressed solidarity with the victims of the war, while others were angry and denounced the violence and aggression of either side3.
