Religious strife should not be Modi's message

Mauritius is already scarred by the numerous scandal that has hit the MSM-NL-OPR regime, and it does not need another massive controversy to add to its woes.
This, the Pravind Jugnauth regime should be very wary about with its potential collapse in the Parliament fast approaching.
The people of Mauritius should know that chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath – if he indulges in conflicting and unconstructive messages in Mauritius – does not represent the message that is coming from the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Not Modi’s message?
The people of Mauritius has the right to know whether the latter is coming to Mauritius to bring any religious or political messages? If they are, then it should be purely private, but we have doubts that is what the Modi government up to.
The people of Mauritius also have the right to know that the Jugnauth regime, in a desperate attempt, is trying to rally a majority of the local Hindu community by ‘showing-off’ that it has India’s support to cling to power despite the massive erosion of its popularity.
This their right, as they depend on the majority vote to win elections, but it should not be done at all cost, that is risking the secular fabric of the country.
However, the people of Mauritius should know that the decay has already set in the Pravind regime, it is not going to last long with the precarious situation regarding a few of its parliamentarians, and a massive opposition victory is inevitable in the No 18 by-election where the MSM-ML might not contest.
We know that the Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Mauritius to address the Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas on November 2, marking the 183rd anniversary of the arrival of Indian indentured labour in Mauritius, has caused a rift in the country.
His visit has generated considerable heat among a section of the local people due to his perceived controversial image of a Hindu hardliner targeting the Muslim minority in Uttar Pradesh.
Treasure your freedom! Make police reports!
Hence there is no need to panic or to fear the sectarian threats of violence circulating in WhatsApp messages.
Mauritians should start defying these threats by making numerous police reports on the basis of the WhatsApp messages circulating and by remaining peaceful and patient against such threats.
These threats are intended to take away your freedom and to of you capitulate because of some unknown threats, then you have lost the battle.
