Secrets luxury brands don't want you to know

Luxury brands are here to make more money from you when you buy their expensive items.

However, did you know that there are places that sell previous season designer goods at a much lower price?

One of the biggest examples out there is Coach, where a pair of shoes can usually cost rm1000 in their KL boutiques. However, a similar-looking pair can cost only rm400 in these outlets.

In Malaysia, there are two outlets that are worth visiting, the Genting Premium outlets and the Johor Premium outlets.

These two outlet malls are key if you want to build a designer wardrobe at a much affordable price.

Johor Premium outlets are the better option as it has more luxury brands compared to Genting.

In JPO they have Gucci, Ferragamo, Prada, Kenzo, Fendi, Balenciaga and more.

It has gone to the point for me, personally, that I wouldn’t want to buy anything designer at a full price. Because six months from now those items will be dumped to the outlets at a 50% discount or more.

Granted some brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Hermes don’t have outlets as they would prefer having their goods to be in limited quantity. This tactic increases product value over time.

Furthermore, for Gucci, not all of their items will end up in the outlets as they would keep some of their classic pieces for sale only in their main boutiques.
