Six League Provides Free Disinfection Services

Kuala Lumpur, 29 March 2021 – As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, there are constant worries about the safety of our residential areas, public spaces, schools, restaurants and crowded places in our daily lives.

Amidst this unprecedented time, the creation of the Persatuan Kebajikan Enam Sahabat or Six League Charity in 2020 is to carry out voluntary social service to help the poor in times of crisis.

The non-profit organisation has launched a program that provides free disinfection services for the public, covering places like schools, places of worship, police stations, apartments, morning and night markets, residential areas, commercial areas, hawker centres and others. Since living in the new normal, Six League has conducted a large number of disinfectant services, as well as donating food supplies to those in need.

Since its establishment last year, the association has exemplified the spirit of social welfare through the engagement of community-based charitable activities, especially during the pandemic by donating, sponsoring and distributing food supplies to those in need as an effort to reduce their financial burden. Aside from the Klang Valley, the association has also lent a hand to people in need in other states, including distributing food supplies to vulnerable groups in Butterworth, Penang.

HALAL DESINTECTANT?

Six League is all geared up for its next phase of disinfection services. They have prepared
a disinfectant solution that is halal and complies with the Ministry of Health (MOH) standards, as well
as certified personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant sprayers with a proper waste
disposal adhering to standard operating procedure (SOP).

Due to increasing demand, the association is pleased to continue its voluntary work by providing
disinfectant services and delivering food supplies against the backdrop of COVID-19. Those in
need can contact Six League for further arrangements, send a message via WhatsApp to 013 2817799.

The disinfection service program launch saw the attendance of Seputeh Member of Parliament (MP) Teresa Kok, Six League committee members and Six League chairman Fon Ah Meng.
