Petronas welcomes SK Earthon as new upstream investor

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 April 2022 – PETRONAS today signed a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with SK earthon Co., Ltd. (SK earthon) and Petroleum Sarawak Exploration & Production Sdn. Bhd. (PSEP) for Block SK427 off the coast of Sarawak. SK earthon, a wholly owned subsidiary of South Korea’s SK Innovation Co.

Petronas Offers 13 Blocks in Highly Prolific Basins at the Upcoming Bid Round

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (Bernama) — PETRONAS today announced that it will be offering 13 offshore exploration blocks in Malaysia at the upcoming Malaysia Bid Round (MBR) 2021 launch on 26 February 2021. Also included are six discovered fields to incentivise investors to undertake more extensive exploration activities within those blocks.
