ATA IMS Appoints Dharma Rajan Nadarajah as new COO

Johor Bahru, Wednesday, 11 May 2022: ATA IMS Bhd announced today that Dharma Rajan Nadarajah has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer of the Group.

Dharma, an experienced business leader in the electronics manufacturing services industry, assumed his duties on Monday, May 9, 2022.

In his capacity at ATA, Dharma will oversee the Group’s operations, build high-performance teams, strengthen ATA’s revenue base, and expand its environmental, social and governance initiatives.

Prior to his appointment with ATA, Dharma was Executive Vice President of Venture Corporation Ltd; managing global operations, customer management, design services, and sales.

ATA is confident

“ATA is confident that Dharma’s knowledge and experience will further the Group’s goal of strengthening our position as the leading Electronics Manufacturing Services provider in Malaysia and the region,” the company says.

Dharma holds an MBA from the Nanyang Business School of the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he was a Gold Medallist from the Institute of Engineers; and an honours degree in computer systems engineering from the University of Bristol, UK.

Dharma’s appointment follows the positive results of an independent review recently received by ATA from a Big Four accounting firm, which confirms that the Group’s activities are governed by human rights principles, laws, and best industry practices and standards for managing impacts in its areas of operation.
