KUCHING (June 7): Sarawak recorded the second highest number of new Covid-19 cases in the country today with 703 cases, said Ministry of Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
In a Facebook post, he said Selangor remained at the top with 1,374 cases while Negeri Sembilan held the third spot with 571 cases.
He said Malaysia recorded 5,271 cases today, bringing the cumulative total of positive cases to 622,086 cases nationwide.
Other states which recorded new cases were Kuala Lumpur with 455, Johor (355), Kelantan (341), Sabah (336), Labuan (209), Kedah (194), Melaka (178), Perak (177), Penang (153), Terengganu (117), Pahang (99), Federal Territory of Putrajaya (8) and Perlis (1).
