Pintu, a crypto wallet and trading platform based in Jakarta, Indonesia, has closed a US$113 million Series B round of funding.

Intudo Ventures, Lightspeed, Northstar Group, and Pantera Capital were among the investors.

The funds will be used to solidify the company’s position as the leading crypto assets platform in Indonesia, including rolling out new features.

Additional tokens and supported blockchains, as well as new products, investing in the Pintu Academy programme to help traders understand both the opportunities and risks of crypto investing, promoting healthier and sustainable trading practises, and continuing to hire talent across all functions are the new features coming.

Pintu, a crypto assets platform that launched in April 2020, is dedicated to making investing in crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and 50 other popular cryptocurrencies accessible to everyone.

The mobile application, which is specifically designed for first-time and novice users, introduces investors to crypto assets through advanced security features and easily accessible educational content.

User experience

To continue improving the user experience, the company has introduced a number of new features, including Pintu Earn where users can earn up to 15% APY.

There is also Pintu Staking, which provides many exclusive benefits to users who stake their Pintu Token, and additional payment channel integrations to make depositing and withdrawing funds even easier.

Since its release, the app has been downloaded by over four million people. Pintu now has over 790,000 active members across Telegram, Discord, Instagram, and TikTok.
