Suspension of Joint Investigation into Flight MH17 Downing

Australia acknowledges the announcement made by the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service and the Joint Investigation Team regarding the suspension of the investigation into the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17.

This unfortunate development is due to Russia’s unlawful invasion of Ukraine and lack of cooperation with the investigation.
