The Malaysia Culinary World Cup aims to put Malaysia on the culinary world map and introduce local cuisine to a global audience. The competition also seeks to bring back the glory of food tourism to Malaysia by promoting its epicurean offerings. This event is not limited to professional chefs, as home cooks are also welcomed to compete and showcase Malaysia’s delicacies to the world.

According to Chef Arthur Lim, the Organising Chairperson and President of MBCA, “Many great chefs in Malaysia started as talented home cooks. This event lets us leverage our skills and explore the possibilities of launching our very food and beverage outlets.” Marcus Teoh, the Ambassador of MCWC23, added that this event aims to create sustainable business opportunities for locals and international food industry players.

The Malaysia Culinary World Cup is a platform for culinary experts and enthusiasts to showcase their talents and compete in front of the world. The event intends to make this an annual occurrence in other countries to boost the local and international food industry. At the end of the three-day competition, the Guinness World Records results will be announced, further cementing Malaysia’s position as an epicurean hub.Regenerate response
