There is a recent discussion among the Asian people in the United States regarding the hatred that is sent towards them. Previously, conservative White Americans were bringing up a similar point when it comes to affirmative action where Asians are not even prioritized to receive the benefits of a person of color.

According to Vox, Asian Americans faced physical and verbal harassment during the pandemic, blamed as xenophobic scapegoats for the virus. Recent attacks include a Filipino man slashed on the subway, a Vietnamese woman robbed, and a Thai man fatally shoved. Anti-Asian sentiment isn’t new; historical events like the Chinese Exclusion Act and Japanese internment camps underscore this issue.

The focus on Black-Asian relations also persists, although Vox found no evidence that Black Americans are predominantly responsible for the rise in attacks. The narrative of Black-Asian hostility stems from historical policies that pitted these communities against each other.

Apparently, an X user states that he has written a controversial post on Reddit with regards to the situation. He states that there are a number of Asian owned businesses that are shutting down and local authorities are not doing much about it. The original poster implied that this issue is not fitting the mass media’s narrative.

Additionally, conservative Americans state that the mainstream media wants to see White Trump supporters attacking Asians. But, it appears that some Asian X users claim those who are staying in conservative areas are even Trump supporters as they’re allowed to thrive in these places.

The woke agenda is focused on dissecting everything American. Conservatives are upset that even the common breakfast is now dubbed as to be something “racist.” However, now, some are stating that celebrating the American independence is “racist” as it is a symbol of colonialism towards non-Whites.
