PAS Positions Itself as a Clean, Principled Alternative for Voters

PAS Vice President Idris Ahmad has defended the party's track record ahead of the upcoming elections, branding it a clean, morally grounded organization.

He emphasized that despite never holding the prime ministership or the federal government, PAS leaders have maintained integrity, never leveraging projects or rewards for political favor.

Addressing decades of heavy political labeling—ranging from "extremist" to "deviant"—Idris dismissed the accusations as free publicity, stating the party chooses to respond with public service rather than anger.

He argued that the enduring support from Islamic scholars and religious teachers disproves these negative claims. Furthermore, Idris highlighted that PAS-governed states serve as proof of the party's fairness, where non-Muslim communities continue to practice their religions, cultures, and economic activities peacefully. He concluded by advising young supporters to counter political opposition through excellent character and respect.
